To set up your Waggle Smart Pet Feeder,
you need a smartphone, your new Waggle Smart Pet Feeder, and a WiFi connection.
Setup is easy. Here's how:
- Download the Waggle Pet App from the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone/tablet.
- Create your account using your email or mobile number.
- On the home screen, tap Add Product, then choose Smart Pet Feeder from the options provided.
- Register the Smart Pet Feeder by scanning the QR Code on the bottom of the bowl.
- Press the reset button on the bowl's side and follow the on-screen instructions to begin pairing.
3. I can't find my Wi-Fi network in the App. What do I do?
If your Wi-Fi network isn't visible on the list, it could be because your Wi-Fi is hidden.
To troubleshoot:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi isn’t hidden by checking it with another smartphone, tablet, or laptop/computer.
- If hidden, select Add Network Manually in the Wi-Fi list and enter the name and password.
If your WiFi signal is too weak:
- Ensure your Waggle Pet Feeder is within 5 feet of the router.
- Place your feeder below your router for a stronger connection, avoiding physical barriers like concrete walls.
- Move the feeder closer to your router and retry the setup.
4. How can I change the Wi-Fi network in the app?
If you’ve changed your WiFi network settings or moved your Waggle Smart Pet Feeder to another location, you’ll need to connect to a new WiFi network.
- Open the Waggle App
- Go to the Smart Pet Feeder homepage and click on the settings icon located in the right corner.
- Click on Wi-Fi settings.
- Click Reset Device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to begin pairing.
5. What happens if I forget to press the button after adding food?
After 45 seconds of inactivity, the bowl automatically sends data to the server. The app then notifies you to press the button.
6. How often does the device report food intake data?
The device reports data every 15 minutes for the first hour after adding food and then every hour afterward.
7. What if I change my pet’s food?
You can easily change your pet’s food details in the app:
- Go to the Smart Pet Feeder homepage
- Click on the settings icon in the right corner
- Click on Pet Food Details and edit your food information.
