1. Where do I install the monitor for optimal Cellular reception? +
Install the monitor in an open area inside your RV, car, or home - ideally near a window or where it has a clear line of sight to the outdoors/sky but not directly facing sunlight. Avoid placing it inside enclosed compartments/closets or behind metal surfaces, as these can interfere with cellular signal reception and may also cause temperature errors. Also please make sure the pet monitor front face(where the temperature sensor is located) is not directly facing sunlight to avoid false high temperature alerts.
2. How do I install the monitor for accurate temperature readings? +
Install the monitor in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, vents, or heating/cooling sources. Placing it near air conditioners, heaters, or windows exposed to sunlight may cause temperature readings to be inaccurate and may accumulate dust/lint in the sensor cavity on the pet monitor and result in inaccurate readings.
3. Can I use any USB cable/adapter to charge the product? +
For best performance and safety, we recommend using only the USB cable and adapter provided with your Waggle Pet Monitor. Using other USB or incompatible or low-power chargers/poor cables may result in slower charging or product malfunction. Waggle guarantees performance only when used with the supplied accessories and the product warranty becomes void due to damages caused by third party accessories including chargers/cables.
4. Why is my pet monitor showing a different temperature compared to another thermometer? +
Waggle Pet monitor uses a high-quality Swiss made temperature & humidity sensor and every Waggle Pet monitor is factory calibrated to +/- 1 Deg C (+/- 2 Deg F ) accuracy referenced to NIST. Thermostats vary widely in terms of temperature accuracy and temperature errors of more than +/- 2F are common. The other common reasons for the difference between your thermostat and the pet monitor reading maybe they are located at different areas of the room. For a fair comparison, ensure both are placed next to each other and even then, there may be a difference of 4F or more based on the quality/accuracy of the reference meter. Watch video here
5. Why does my monitor not get any signal even though my cell phone has coverage? +
Waggle Pet Monitor works on a special IoT (Internet of Things) 4G network called Cat-M1, while cell phones use 4G Cat-4 or higher. In most locations, both networks are available, but sometimes your phone may show strong coverage while the IoT Cat-M1 signal is weak or unavailable.While both are generally referred to as 4G cellular, their signal strengths can vary in the same location. If this happens, try relocating the pet monitor closer to a window or door and ensure there are no obstructions and reset/restart the monitor. This should most likely resolve the issue. 72. Does the Waggle Pet Monitor send real-time alerts? +
Yes. The Waggle Pet Monitor continuously reads temperature and humidity every second. If a reading crosses your configured safety threshold or another critical event, such as a power loss, is detected, an alert is triggered immediately. The 10-minute update shown in the app applies only when conditions remain within the safe range and serves as a routine status refresh. This approach is intentionally designed to optimize battery life while ensuring you receive real-time alerts whenever your pet's safety is at risk. Watch the detailed video here.
73. How do Waggle Pet Monitor battery modes affect performance? +
Battery modes only change how often your app updates. Alerts still trigger instantly when temperatures go unsafe - no matter the mode. Watch the detailed video here.
74. Can I manage multiple Waggle devices under one plan? +
Yes! With Waggle Combo Plans, you can cover all your devices under individual plans. Watch the detailed video here.

Installation / How it works

6. How to register the Waggle Pet Monitor with the new super app? +
Charge your Waggle Pet Monitor for 7-8 hours until the LED turns from red to green.

Press and hold the button located below the display until the device is on.

Download & install the 'Waggle Super App' from the Play Store or App Store.


To Register your Waggle Pet Monitor:

STEP 1: Open the App

STEP 2: Click 'Register Product'

STEP 3: Scan QR code

STEP 4: Enter the details

STEP 5: Click 'Register'

STEP 6: Once the registration is successful, select 'Claim Warranty'

STEP 7: To receive alerts, choose the suitable plan and select 'Activate'


Note: Activation is usually completed within minutes after purchasing your Waggle Pet Monitor subscription. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours.
7. How do I turn on/off my Waggle Pet Monitor? +
To turn it on, press and hold the button located below the display for approximately 3 to 5 seconds until the device wakes up. To turn off the device, press and hold the button for about 5 seconds until the display shows "shut down."
8. How can I check the status of my Waggle Pet Monitor? +
The status of the device, including real-time data on temperature, humidity, and AQI, can be viewed through the Waggle app. Navigate to the "Dashboard" section within the app to see all current readings and history.
9. How to register more than one Waggle Pet Monitor to the app? +
Open the app.
Tap "Add product" on the home page.
Select the product.
Scan the QR Code at the back of your Waggle Pet Monitor and enter the details.
Click "Register".
Once registered, select "Claim Warranty".
Choose a plan and select "Activate".

Waggle uses a factory-calibrated Swiss sensor. Thermostat variations and placement differences can cause discrepancies.
15. Why does my monitor not get any signal even though my cell phone has coverage? +
Waggle uses 4G CatM1 which differs from phone networks. Try moving near windows or restarting the monitor. Contact support if unresolved.
16. How do I restart the pet monitor? +
Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off. Press again to turn it back on.
18. How do I know if the device is charging? +
A blinking blue LED means charging. Solid blue (or off) means fully charged.
19. How can I tell if my monitor is connected to the network? +
LED indicators show connection. Use the app to confirm real-time connectivity.
20. Can the pet monitor be used outside of the U.S.? +
Yes. The Waggle Pet Monitor is supported in both the U.S. and Canada. Devices are configured for the cellular networks in their respective countries and are not intended for cross-border use. Contact support if you have any compatibility questions.
21. Can I charge the Waggle Pet Monitor using my car charger? +
Yes, using a 12V input/5V output car charger is supported.
22. What is the battery life of Waggle Pet Monitor? +
Lite: Up to 96 hours of battery backup.
PRO+ Air: Up to 36 hours of battery backup.

Note: For uninterrupted temperature monitoring and real-time RV power loss alerts, we recommend keeping your Waggle Pet Monitor plugged in whenever possible. Actual battery life may vary based on cellular signal strength, alert frequency, ambient temperature, and overall device usage.
23. Will I get an alert if the Waggle Pet Monitor runs out of battery? +
Yes, you'll get a low battery alert via SMS/email (based on subscription).
24. Will I get an alert if there is a power outage in my RV/Home? +
Yes, it sends a "Power Loss Alert" when unplugged while ON.
25. How can I extend my Waggle Pet Monitor's battery life? +
Use Low Power or Ultra Low Power mode in the app. Contact support for more customization.

27. How to change the frequency of Temperature Alerts? +
Open the App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Alert Settings > Edit Temperature Frequency > Save.
28. How to change the frequency of Power Loss Alerts? +
Open the App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Alert Settings > Edit Power Loss Frequency > Save.
29. How do I change the minimum and maximum alert temperature? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Dashboard > Edit Min/Max Temperature > Save.
30. How to edit an existing email alert? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Alerts > Edit Email Alert > Save.
31. How to add a new email address for alerts? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Alerts > Enable Email Alert > Add New Email > Save.
32. How to edit your mobile number? +

35. How do I enable and disable all alerts? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Alerts > Toggle Alerts.
36. How to change the temperature unit? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Temperature Unit > Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit.
37. What is the Last Reporting Interval? +
The device reports every 10 mins by default. You'll receive instant alerts when conditions change.
38. Will I receive alerts for temperature breaches if my alert frequency is set to 2 hours? +
Yes, alerts are triggered instantly on threshold breach regardless of the alert frequency setting.
39. How do I edit my pet's profile and picture? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Settings > Edit > Choose/Edit Picture > Done.
40. How can I calculate the Heat Index myself? +
Use this formula: HI = c1 + c2T + c3R + c4TR + ... (from Weather.gov).
41. What do the different colors mean on the homepage temperature area? +
Blue: Below range
Green: Normal
Red: Above range.
42. How to toggle between multiple Waggle Pet Monitors in the app if I have more than one? +
Open App > Pet Monitor > Tap profile image > Select device to switch between monitors.
43. How can I delete my Waggle account? +
Open App > Profile > Delete Account > Submit reason > Done. You'll get a confirmation call from support.
75. What happens when I tap "Update My Geofence"? +
If you move away from your predefined boundary, you'll see the "Update My Geofence" button. Tapping it creates a new geofence around your RV's current location.
76. Why does my RVSentry show "Your location hasn't been updated"? +
This appears when your Waggle Pet Monitor cannot establish a proper tracking signal usually due to indoor parking, covered storage, or a blocked view of the sky. The message will disappear automatically once the device reconnects and updates its position.

44. How can I update my email address or phone number? +
Please send an email at support@mywaggle.com for this request.
45. Can I add multiple email addresses or phone numbers for alerts? +
Yes, you can add multiple email addresses and phone numbers to receive alerts. Here's how:
Open the Waggle app and go to Settings > Alerts.
Select Email Alerts or Text Alerts.
Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner.
Enter the additional email address or phone number you'd like to add.
Save your changes.
46. Why am I not receiving alerts from my Waggle Monitor? +
If you're not receiving alerts, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:

Check Alert Settings:
Open the Waggle app and go to Settings > Alerts to ensure alerts are enabled.

Verify Network Plan & Connectivity:
Make sure your network plan is active and the device is online.

Phone Notification Settings:
Confirm that notifications for the Waggle app are enabled in your phone's system settings.

47. How do I update the Waggle app to the latest version? +
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), search "Waggle Pet App," and tap "Update" if available.
48. Why isn't my app showing updated temperature or location? +
Ensure your device is online and in a network-covered area. If you have not used it for long, you will need to reset the device.

49. Why isn't my device's location updating? +
There are two ways Waggle displays location:
1. The app theme location (shown on the home screen) is based on your mobile device's location.
2. The actual location is determined by the device itself.

If your Waggle device's location isn't updating or seems inaccurate, please try the following:
- Place the device near a window or in an open area. Signals may not work well indoors, especially if the device is placed deep inside an RV or a building.
- Ensure the device is powered on and connected to the network.

Features & Usage

50. What is RVSentry? +
RVSentry tracks your RV's location once every 10 minutes and notifies you if it moves outside the boundary you've created. It forms a virtual fence around your RV for safety.
51. What is the default report interval and can I change it? +
The default reporting interval is every 10 minutes, whether charging or on battery. You cannot change it directly from the App. However, you can manage power consumption and reporting behavior by selecting different power modes: Low Power Save Mode, Ultra Power Save Mode. These modes help extend battery life and may influence how frequently data is reported. Please note: Changing the power mode will directly affect power consumption and, consequently, the overall battery life of your device.
52. Can I monitor more than one pet with one device? +
Yes, the Waggle device monitors temperature and humidity, so it works for multiple pets in the same space.
53. Can I use the monitor in a car, home, or kennel? +
Absolutely. As long as there is cellular coverage, the monitor will work in any enclosed space. Please note that the device should not be directly exposed to the sunlight.
54. Does Waggle Pet monitor require Wi-Fi? +
No, Waggle uses built-in cellular (Verizon/AT&T & T-Mobile) and does not rely on Wi-Fi.
55. How do I know if my subscription Plan is active? +
Go to the app > Profile > My plan. You'll see your current plan status and renewal date. Or you can also find it inside the pet monitor settings page. Go to pet monitor > settings > my plan.
56. What happens if my device loses power? +
You'll receive an alert if power is lost and the device switches to battery mode. Be sure your contact info is updated. The device should be connected to a power source to make use of this feature.
57. How long does the battery last? +
On a full charge, battery lasts up to 2-3 days depending on the report interval. Frequent updates and poor signal may reduce battery life. Battery life depends on your device settings and reporting frequency:
- With RVSentry, LCD, and AQI enabled: 1 day
- With RVSentry and LCD only: Up to 3 days
- With all sensors off: 3+ days, based on reporting interval.

59. How do I update or refresh the Waggle App? +
To refresh the app: Simply pull down on the dashboard screen. This will refresh the data and update the latest readings.

To update the app: Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and check for any available updates for the Waggle app. Keeping the app updated ensures you have the latest features and improvements.
60. How do I fix the time and date on my Waggle monitor? +
The time and date on your Waggle monitor are automatically synced through the network. If you notice that the time or date is incorrect:
- Reset the device and ensure it has proper network connectivity.
- Allow a few minutes for the time to sync automatically.
If the time has not updated even after 2 hours, a reset may be required. You can follow the reset steps in the video linked below.
61. Do I need the Waggle Pet App to use the Pet Monitor? +
Yes, the Waggle Pet App is required to activate the monitor, receive alerts, and view real-time temperature and humidity data.
62. What kind of alerts will I receive on the app? +
You'll get instant alerts for high/low temperature, humidity changes, power loss, RVSentry, AQI and power recovery via push notification, SMS, and email. Please note: Text alerts are limited, but email alerts are unlimited.
63. How do I set or change the temperature alert thresholds in the app? +
To set or update your temperature alert limits:
- Open the Waggle app.
- Select your Pet Monitor device.
- Below the temperature ring on the dashboard, tap the pencil icon.
- Set your desired minimum and maximum temperature thresholds.
64. Can I monitor more than one RV or vehicle with the app? +
Yes. If you have multiple Waggle Pet Monitors, you can add and monitor them all from a single app account.
65. Can I view the data history or trends in the app? +
Yes, the app provides access to temperature and humidity history logs to help you track patterns over time. The reports can be downloaded from the app.
66. Will I be alerted if my RV loses power while I'm away? +
Absolutely. The app will notify you immediately if power is lost or restored to your RV if the device is connected to the power source.
67. Can I pause notifications temporarily from the app? +
Yes, you can temporarily disable alerts directly from the Waggle app.
- Open the Waggle app.
- Enable/disable the notifications from device settings.
You can re-enable alerts at any time by sliding the button back on.
68. Why isn't my device connecting to the network? +
Reset the device: Perform a device reset and wait for it to reconnect.
69. How does the Flexi Plan work? +
The Waggle Flexi Plan is designed for seasonal travelers and pet parents who value flexibility. This 6-month Network Plan lets you pause and resume your plan based on your travel or lifestyle needs, while delivering full value over 3 active months.
70. The app isn't updating, but the temperature is showing on the device. +
Check your internet connection and update the app to the latest version. Close and reopen the app. If the temperature and time is not updated for more than 2 hours please reset the device.
71. I want to return my device because I wasn't aware of the subscription. +

Your subscription plan powers the built-in 4G connection behind every alert, so you stay informed wherever the day takes you. Plans are purchased separately from the device.

Billing & Renewals

Cancellations & Refunds

We want your Waggle plan to always be the right fit. If your needs change, here's how cancellations and refunds work.

Non-Monthly Plans

Includes Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly, and 2-Year plans.

  • When you start a new subscription: You have 7 days to cancel and receive a prorated refund. This includes first-time purchases, reactivations, and any new plan.
  • When your plan renews: You have 2 days after your renewal date to cancel and receive a prorated refund.
  • Planning ahead: Outside of these windows, you're welcome to schedule a cancellation during the final 30 days before your renewal date. Your plan stays fully active through the end of your billing period and simply won't renew.

Monthly Plans

Cancel within 24 hours of activation or renewal to receive a prorated refund. After that, you can cancel anytime, and your plan will stay active through the end of the current month.

Multiple Devices on One Subscription

If you cancel every device on your subscription within the refund window, you'll receive a prorated refund. If you cancel or remove just one device, the unused amount is added to your account as credit, ready to be used toward your future renewals.

A Quick Note

Cancellations made outside the refund windows aren't eligible for a refund. The good news: your plan remains fully active through the end of your current billing period, so you can keep enjoying every feature until then.

Changing Your Plan

As your needs change, your plan can change with them. You can switch plans anytime in the Waggle app.

  • Upgrading: You'll only pay the prorated difference, and your new plan is available right away.
  • Downgrading: Any unused amount from your current plan is added as credit and can be used toward your future renewals.

Adding Another Device

When you add a device to an existing subscription, we bring all of your devices onto one convenient billing date, so managing your plan stays simple. Your billing date resets to the day the new device is added.

  • Your new device is billed at the standard plan price.
  • Your existing device receives credit for its unused time, so you only pay for the extra time needed to match the new billing date.

Here's how it works: You purchase a Yearly plan for $199 on Jan 1, then add a second device to the same subscription on Jul 1.
